Fire
Destroys Washington Place Home
On the evening of December 11, 2009, several 911 calls were made to dispatch reporting a
fire on Washington Place, near Terrace Avenue. At 21:32, the Hasbrouck Heights Fire
Department was dispatched to a working fire consuming the front porch, with heavy smoke

Spooky and Scary
Woodland Park was invaded by ghosts, goblins and assorted scary characters on the evening
of October 20, 2009. About 600 participated.Halloween in the Park began at 6:00 p.m. and

Day 2009
Hasbrouck Heights Town Day was held on Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. to

The Library was transformed into a movie house. Attendees were treated to some of
Hollywoods glamour and glitz as the paparazzi snapped pictures of guests coming in
