The food pantry shelves are becoming a little sparse. Here are some needed items:
beans, canned fruit, juices, pasta sauce, gravies, paper products, all kinds of soaps and
cleaning products, shampoo, toiletries, jelly, coffee, tea, cereal, powdered milk,
crackers, cookies and snacks. Call the Borough Clerks office for additional details

Veterans
Pavers Available
Remember a present or former Hasbrouck Heights Family Member or Friend who has
served in military service by placing an engraved paver in his/her name to be placed in
the Memorial Walkway located in Veterans Park on Terrace Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights.
The cost of purchasing a 4 x 8 inch paver is $50. To obtain an order form or for

Fire Destroys Washington Place Home
On the evening of December 11, 2009, several 911 calls were made to dispatch reporting a
fire on Washington Place, near Terrace Avenue. At 21:32, the Hasbrouck Heights Fire
Department was dispatched to a working fire consuming the front porch, with heavy smoke

Woodland Park was invaded by ghosts, goblins and assorted scary characters on the evening
of October 20, 2009. About 600 participated.Halloween in the Park began at 6:00 p.m. and

Hasbrouck Heights Town Day was held on Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 10:30 a.m. to
