Tree Lighting
Ceremony 2006
Hundreds of area residents enjoyed the
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony which was held at The Circle, 5 p.m., December 3rd.
Santa welcomed everyone. Pat Link opened
the program. Rev. Lewis V. Papera, Pastor, Corpus Christi Church said an opening prayer.
Councilman Justin DiPisa welcomed the community.
Fr. Lew led everyone in the countdown to
lighting the tree. The Hasbrouck Heights High School Concert Choir, led by Timothy M.
Taylor, provided chorale, as those assembled sang Christmas songs.
Plenty of hot cocoa and snacks were available. Music &
PA system were provided by the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department. This annual event was
sponsored by the Mayor’s Community Celebrations Committee. ###
