of www.hasbrouck-heights.net HHFD Memorial Day Service 2007 Following the Memorial Day Veterans ceremony, the parade continued along Passaic Avenue to the Firemen’s Memorial at The Circle for a brief service. The National Anthem was played by the Hasbrouck Heights High School Band. Erik Soldwedel, Deacon Intern at St. John the Divine, gave the invocation. Mayor Ronald R. Jones, Fire Commissioner Carol Skiba and First Assistant Chief Michael Ratkowski, made comments. Firefighter Michael Thomasey read the names of deceased firefighters -- with the tolling of the Memorial Bell. ###
