© All rights reserved. Hasbrouck Heights Town Day was held on Saturday, September 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in Woodland Park. Admission was free. Highlights included free food and drinks, free give-a-ways, face painting, balloon sculptures, inflatable amusements, etc. There was a concert featuring "Youth Gone Wild" (a band of 10 to 13 year olds) followed by Carla Culkin and "Double Tap," held in the pavilion. The Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department presented a huge display of its equipment, "Jaws of Life" demonstrations, an opportunity for children to put out a smoky fire in a miniature house, and "Sparky" was there to delight everyone. The Jr. Womans Club of Hasbrouck Heights ran their
annual Beautiful Baby Contest to benefit needy children ###
