About 70 entrants participated in the Annual Childrens Parade held July 4, 2006 at

Annual Senior Citizens Picnic
The senior citizens of Hasbrouck Heights always look forward to this day. The seniors
appreciate the event hosted by the Mayor and Council. Borough Clerk Rose Marie Sees and
her staff, as well as Rob Brady and his youth group, did an outstanding job of preparing

Camp Night
The 3rd Annual Family Overnight Camp-out in Woodland Park was held on July 15-16, 2006.
About 20 families participated. Rizzos Reptile Discovery provided an educational
lecture and presentation of reptiles and wildlife. Popcorn, cotton candy, dinner, late
night BBQ and breakfast were provided. There was a campfire under the pavilion for a

featuring "Ron Gartner and Orchestra". The second concert is scheduled for

Annual 24-hour Memorial Weekend Bicycle Marathon
The Marathon was held at Depken Field starting on Friday May 27 at 10:00 a.m. and

their shadow and some didnt." On February 12-13, a noreaster fooled
forecasters who predicted 6 to 12 inches would fall that weekend. Blizzard like

Previously this season there was a dusting, then about 2" fell on Sunday, December
4th, but on Friday, December 9th the area received its first snow. About 6 to 8 inches
